Chagrin Valley and Southeast Suburbs Real Estate in 2025: Aurora, Twinsburg, Stow, Medina, and More
The southeast quadrant of the Northeast Ohio market, running from the Chagrin Valley communities through Twinsburg, Aurora, Stow, and into Medina and Summit Counties, encompasses some of the region's most consistently desirable real estate. The Mike Team closed transactions across this entire corridor this year. Here's what we saw market by market.
Aurora and Reminderville (Kenston and Twinsburg Districts)
A 4-bedroom split level on 1.5+ acres in Aurora sold in 4 days at $274,000: Kenston school district, tucked away and private. A Drees-built former model home in Reminderville sold at $570,000, on a premium lot overlooking green space and walking trails in the Twinsburg school district. Both of these transactions reflect the same fundamental: buyers who target this corridor for schools, privacy, and community character are prepared and decisive when the right property becomes available.
Twinsburg
Two Twinsburg closings this year: a beautifully updated ranch in Glenwood Preserve ($420,000, held the listing) and a 4-bedroom colonial on Strauss Lane ($490,000, buyer-side). Twinsburg has become one of the most sought-after mid-market addresses in the southeast corridor: the school district is strong, the location between Cleveland and Akron on Route 91 is genuinely convenient, and the suburban quality of life is high. These two closings at $420,000–$490,000 reflect where Twinsburg's quality housing has settled price-wise.
Stow
Two Stow transactions: a colonial in the popular Call's Farm neighborhood ($389,900, closed in 14 days, buyer-side) and a colonial on Heather Ann Circle ($358,000, buyer-side). Stow-Munroe Falls school district, easy Akron access, cul-de-sac streets, and usable yards, Stow delivers a very specific suburban package that its buyer base values consistently.
Medina — The Motor Enthusiast's Property
The Medina closing deserves its own mention: a 4-bedroom colonial on 4.37 acres in Montville Township with two massive outbuildings, a converted horse barn with loft storage, and a 2,400 sq ft garage/workshop with a vehicle lift bay, full paint bay, gas heat, AC, water, and electric. All on 4.37 private acres. For the car enthusiast, contractor, or hobbyist who has been searching for exactly this, this property is rare anywhere in Northeast Ohio. Closed at $620,000. We held the listing.
Hinckley
A 4-bedroom contemporary home in The Preserve at Wakefield Run in Hinckley: 6,300+ sq ft, two-story great room with skylights, golf course views, wooded preserve backing, this sold at $742,500. Hinckley is one of Medina County's most distinctive addresses, and a home of this scale in a well-maintained subdivision attracted the right buyer.
Cuyahoga Falls and Fairlawn
A 4-bedroom Cape Cod walkable to downtown Cuyahoga Falls sold in 4 days at $187,000 (buyer-side). A 3-bedroom ranch in Fairlawn closed at $260,000. Copley-Fairlawn schools, I-77 access, and Fairlawn's commercial amenities make this one of Summit County's most consistently active residential markets.
Northfield Center and Northfield
A 4-bedroom home lovingly cared for by the same family for 60+ years in Northfield Center sold in 4 days at $417,000. Nordonia Hills district, Northfield Center's quiet setting, this was a property with genuine warmth that buyers recognized immediately.
