Are you a Hunter or a Farmer? What type of agent are you?
Hunters are more outgoing, into prospecting and door knocking.
Farmers cultivate relationships to obtain more business.
Either way you must get over rejection.
Tip #1 – Open Houses – Ask the right questions to get listings – Where are they going? They most likely will need to sell a house when buying a new home.
Tip #2 – Door Knocking – Not just for Hunters – Focus on a neighborhood with at lease 5% turnover.
Tip #3 – Sphere of Influence – Still the number one source of business for Realtors at about 70%. Offer something of value – a market report or home evaluation.
