Twinsburg Halloween 2026: Trick-or-Treat Hours, an Ice Cream Fundraiser and Halloween at the Barn

I live in Twinsburg, so this one's close to home. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and while the city's big fall festival already happened earlier in October, there's still a lot worth putting on the calendar. Here's what's going on in Twinsburg, plus a couple of easy add-ons nearby.

Twinsburg trick-or-treat hours for 2026

Twinsburg's trick-or-treat is Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 8 p.m., according to Ideastream's Northeast Ohio list.

The usual rule applies. Porch light on means you're handing out candy. If you're not participating, keep it off so kids know to skip your house.

Spook-tacular Ice Cream Fundraiser at Ebony's (Thursday, Oct. 29)

This one is sweet in every sense. The THS Blue Diamonds Dance Team is hosting a Spook-tacular Ice Cream Fundraiser at Ebony's Ice Cream on Thursday, October 29, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Ebony's is at 9981 Vail Drive, Unit 1A. Come dressed in your best costume, and members of the Blue Diamonds will scoop your ice cream. All proceeds benefit the dance team, so it's a great way to support Twinsburg High School students and a local small business at the same time.

It's also an easy after-school stop for kids who want to wear their costume one more time before the big night. Check Ebony's or the Blue Diamonds' social media for any updates before you go.

Halloween at the Barn (Thursday, Oct. 29)

That same evening, the Twinsburg Historical Society and the Twinsburg Public Library are teaming up for Halloween at the Barn, which the library calls an October tradition. It runs from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Freeman Barn, 8990 Darrow Road, just off the Square. Kids come in costume to hear Halloween stories, followed by donuts and cider.

A few details to know before you go:

  • It's designed for kindergarten through third grade, and children under 5 aren't allowed inside.
  • Registration is required for both adults and children, and there are only 30 spots, so sign up early.
  • Parking is behind the barn, reachable from the Giant Eagle plaza.
  • The building isn't heated, so dress warmly.

Make it a Thursday night

October 29 is shaping up to be a fun night around here. You could grab ice cream at Ebony's at 4, head to Halloween at the Barn at 6, or drive over to Hudson for the downtown Merchants' Trick-or-Treat, which runs from 5 to 7 p.m. along Main Street, First & Main and Acme Plaza. We have the details in our Hudson Halloween post.

Nearby on Halloween weekend

  • Solon: The city's free Trick-or-Treat Trail is Saturday, October 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. on the Portz Parkway Path, and Advent Lutheran's trunk-or-treat follows from 5 to 7 p.m. on Harper Road.
  • Hudson, Aurora, Solon and Macedonia: Trick-or-treat is Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 8 p.m., the same as Twinsburg.
  • Streetsboro: Trick-or-treat runs from 5 to 7 p.m. on October 31.

Tips for Halloween night in Twinsburg

  • Drivers, slow down from 6 to 8 p.m. A lot of Twinsburg neighborhoods have winding streets and cul-de-sacs, and kids in dark costumes don't always look both ways.
  • Light your walkway, not just the porch. Clear leaves, hoses and pumpkins off the steps.
  • Keep pets inside. The doorbell gets a workout on Halloween night.
  • Little kids go with an adult, and older kids should carry a flashlight and stay in groups.
  • Check candy at home and toss anything unwrapped.

And if you're selling a Twinsburg home this fall, keep the decorations seasonal rather than spooky before listing photos and showings. A few pumpkins and mums help a house feel welcoming. Giant inflatables hide the front of the house buyers want to see.
